- Place hot dogs in a large skillet or griddle over medium heat and cook for 5-7 minutes turning frequently.
- Open hot dog buns and press the sides apart to flatten, spread butter on the bottom of the flat bun.
- Place the buns butter side down on the pan and top with ½ Cup cheese and 1 cooked hot dog each.
- Once the bottom of the bun is browned to your liking, fold the bun in half around the hot dog and allow the cheese to finish melting.
- Remove from pan and serve.
