1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a large bowl whisk the eggs, whole milk, heavy cream, salt, and pepper.
  3. Fold in the ham, gruyere and asparagus and pour the mixture into the pie crust.
  4. Bake for 45 – 55 minutes or until the center is set.
  5. Top with more ham and gruyere; serve.
