Cast Iron Skillet Pizza

Ingredients

  • 5 oz. Sugardale Pepperonipizza dough1 tbsp. olive oil½ cup pizza sauce1 cup mozzarella, shredded½ cup fresh mozzarellabasil

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 475 degrees with a rack in the highest placement. Place olive oil in a cast iron skillet and place in the oven to warm up for 15 minutes.
  2. Roll out dough. Carefully place dough in pre-heated cast iron skillet.
  3. Top with pizza sauce, cheese, and pepperoni.
  4. Return the cast iron skillet to the oven and bake for 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden brown.
  5. Let cool, top with basil, slice and serve.
